GARDEN CLEARANCE

We provide a garden clearance service in East London and Essex.

Removing all kinds of waste from your garden

Do you need to clear your garden ready for landscaping or other construction? Or does it feel neglected or overgrown? We break up and remove patios, dismantle sheds and take apart concrete paths. We also clear weeds, shrubs, trees and other plants, old turf, trunks and roots.

Clearing your garden without making a mess

This kind of work is quicker if we have direct side or rear access to the garden. But don’t worry if that’s not possible. We cover floors and protect walls and furniture and carefully carry waste through. Before the job is finished, we always make sure we leave the area clean and keep any disruption to a minimum.

Disposing of waste properly
We can either bag up garden clearance waste and leave it for council collection. Or we can take it straight to a local licensed waste and recycling centre for an additional charge. For waste disposal information please see our price list.

If you have a large amount of waste, we may need to hire a skip or lorry. We can take care of this, including obtaining suitable permits.

LAWN CARE

LAWN CARE

We lay new lawns and maintain existing ones, too. Regular maintenance is the best way to look after your lawn and means you’ll avoid the expense of replacing it later on.

Our lawn care services include the following.

  • Ground preparation We remove old grass, clear soil of stones, rocks, roots or any other unwanted materials and enrich the soil if necessary. We create a level and even area ready for your new lawn.
  • Seeding or laying turf We can seed lawn as a less expensive option and if you can wait for the lawn to establish. For an instant lawn and with just a little more money, we lay turf at any time of year.
  • Feeding the lawn We use the right fertilisers at the right times to create and maintain healthy lawns. We prefer to use organic and environmentally friendly fertilisers.
  • Moss control We apply a range of techniques to improve conditions for grass and make lawns inhospitable for moss.
  • Aeration and scarification These techniques improve drainage and reduce turf compaction and the build-up of thatch or dead grass. Together they create an environment where grass seed can directly contact the soil and existing lawns become healthier and inhospitable to moss and disease.
  • Top seeding We can in-fill damaged or thinned areas of grass, improve the lawn colour and reduce weed and moss invasion.
  • Mowing The actual height of turf is a matter of preference, but if the grass grows too long before cutting, mowing can damage or even kill the lawn.
  • Watering We can regularly water lawns or design, supply and install automatic watering systems.

SOIL TESTS

SOIL TESTS

If your plants are failing, it may be time to analyse your soil. Different plants require different conditions and the right soil and nutrients is key to plant health.

Our soil tests service provides an analysis of soil texture, pH, organic matter and three major plant nutrients (potassium, phosphorus and magnesium). You receive a detailed interpretation of the results and recommendations to create a healthy environment for either fruit, vegetables, ornamentals or lawns.
